Known for​

  • Bladder-training trial in older women (1991). Fantl led a randomized trial in 123 older women that found fewer incontinence episodes after bladder training.5
  • Estrogen-supplementation trial for urinary incontinence (1996). Fantl led a placebo-controlled trial finding that three months of cyclic hormone therapy did not improve incontinence outcomes.6
