Arthur L. Burnett

Biography​

Arthur L. Burnett is the Patrick C. Walsh Professor of Urology at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and directs its Sexual Medicine Fellowship Program.1 He received his medical degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and completed urology residency and fellowship training at The Johns Hopkins Hospital.2 He has served as president of the Sexual Medicine Society of North America.3

Contributions​

Burnett's cited work covers erectile dysfunction evaluation and treatment, including an AUA guideline and a systematic review of penile prosthesis survival. His priapism papers examine prevention of recurrent ischemic priapism with phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors and a corporoglanular shunt modification called the corporal "snake" maneuver.45678
