Alsikafi's cited work covers flap urethroplasty for complex anterior urethral stricture, nonoperative management of renal trauma and multicenter TURNS outcomes of robotic posterior stenosis repair.456

  • Penile circular fasciocutaneous flap urethroplasty (2008). As senior author on the UCSF series of 124 complex anterior strictures without lichen sclerosus, reported stricture-free survival of 95%, 89%, 84% and 79% at 1, 3, 5 and 10 years; smoking, prior hypospadias repair and stricture length of 7 to 10 cm predicted failure.4 Cited on WARWIKI: McAninch Transverse Circular Penile Skin Flap, Orandi Flap (Longitudinal Ventral Penile Skin Flap), Pedicled Penile / Preputial Skin Flap.
  • Urinary extravasation after renal laceration (2006). Led a review of 61 patients from the San Francisco General Hospital trauma database: of 34 managed nonoperatively, 3 (9%) had persistent extravasation, and all 3 resolved after endoscopic ureteral stent placement.5
  • Robotic repair of vesicourethral anastomotic stenosis (2022). Coauthored the TURNS multicenter series of 32 robotic-assisted reconstructions: 75% were patent at a median follow-up of 12 months, and 11 of 13 men without preexisting stress incontinence remained continent.6 Cited on WARWIKI: Vesicourethral Anastomotic Stenosis, Primary Reanastomosis for Refractory Posterior Stenosis.
