Biography​

Peter L. Dwyer is director of urogynecology at Mercy Hospital for Women in Melbourne and a clinical professor at the University of Melbourne.1 He trained with Stuart Stanton in urogynecology.2 He was president of the International Urogynecological Association from 2002 to 2004 and editor in chief of the International Urogynecology Journal from 2010 to 2017.1

Contributions​

His cited work covers surgical treatment of stress urinary incontinence, including Burch colposuspension, midurethral slings, and pubovaginal slings. It also describes vaginal apical prolapse repairs, including iliococcygeus, sacrospinous, uterosacral, and modified McCall approaches.34567
