Contributions​

Mark Joseph "Toto" Abalajon returned from Pune to build reconstructive urology practice and training in Manila, working with Patrick Matias and Paksi Satyagraha on the Philippine Urological Association's first pelvic reconstruction masterclass in 2018 and helping found the Philippine Society of Genitourinary Reconstructive Surgeons in 2019.2

  • Perineal simulation model for urethroplasty and artificial urinary sphincter placement (2025). Member of the 19-surgeon Delphi panel that set the design of a non-biohazardous 3D-printed hydrogel model of the male perineum; experts who tested the prototype agreed it replicated urethral exposure (91%) and overall anatomical relationships (100%).1
