John Occhino
Biography
John A. Occhino is chair of the Division of Urogynecology and professor of obstetrics and gynecology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.1 He earned his medical degree at the University of Cincinnati and completed an obstetrics and gynecology residency at Good Samaritan Hospital.2 He completed a female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery fellowship at Mayo Clinic; John B. Gebhart was among his mentors.13 He directed Mayo Clinic's urogynecology and reconstructive pelvic surgery fellowship from 2015 to 2025.2
