Biography

Oscar Contreras Ortiz was an Argentine urogynecologist and professor at the University of Buenos Aires who headed the obstetrics and gynecology department at Hospital de Clínicas.²³ He received medical and gynecologic training at the University of Buenos Aires and Hospital José de San Martín.² He served as IUGA president and co-founded the International Urogynecology Journal with Donald Ostergard.⁴²
