Richard E. Hautmann

Biography​

Richard E. Hautmann is professor of urology and chair emeritus at the University of Ulm in Germany.12 Hautmann studied medicine at the University of Würzburg and completed a urology residency at the University of Aachen under Wolfgang Lutzeyer.1 In 1974 and 1975, Hautmann worked as a part-time research fellow with Hartmut Osswald.1 Hautmann directed Ulm University Hospital's urology department from 1984 to 2009 and served as president of the German Urological Association from 1993 to 1994.21
