Known for​

  • Functional classification of neurogenic voiding dysfunction (1981). Wein proposed classifying voiding dysfunction by storage and emptying failure and by bladder or outlet function.4
  • Campbell-Walsh Urology editorship (2015). Wein served as editor-in-chief of the eleventh edition of the general urology reference textbook.5
