Faysal A. Yafi

Biography​

Faysal A. Yafi is vice chair of urology and director of Men's Health and Newport Urology at the University of California, Irvine.1 He earned his medical degree from the American University of Beirut and completed a general surgery internship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.1 He completed a urology residency at McGill University in Montreal and a two-year fellowship in andrology, sexual medicine, and prosthetic urology at Tulane University under Wayne J. G. Hellstrom.12 He is secretary of the Sexual Medicine Society of North America.3

Contributions​

His cited work examines treatments for Peyronie's disease, including intralesional injections, traction therapy, tunical plication, grafting, and curvature correction during prosthesis implantation. He has also published on penile prosthesis techniques, multimodal analgesia, salvage of infected prostheses, and the Mini-Jupette graft for post-prostatectomy climacturia and mild urinary incontinence.45678
