  • Introduction of midurethral sling surgery in the Netherlands. A Dutch pelvic floor society tribute credits him with introducing midurethral sling surgery in the Netherlands.2
  • Introduction of vaginal mesh surgery in the Netherlands. The same tribute credits him with subsequently introducing vaginal mesh prolapse surgery in the Netherlands.3
