John P. Stein

Biography​

John P. Stein was a professor at USC's Keck School of Medicine and practiced at USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center until his death in 2008.1 He graduated from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine.2 He completed his urology residency under Donald G. Skinner's direction.1 He was secretary-elect of the American Urologic Association's Western Section.2

Stein's cited work covers continent urinary diversion, including Kock ileal reservoirs, the orthotopic T-pouch neobladder, and adaptations of the T-pouch mechanism for urinary diversion and continent ileostomy.
