Known for​

  • Recurrent prolapse repair randomized trial (2011). Senior-authored a trial comparing trocar-guided vaginal mesh with conventional repair for recurrent prolapse; it reported anatomical outcomes and mesh exposure.2
  • Dutch urogynecology working group and curriculum. Helped establish the Netherlands Pelvic Floor Working Group and initiated a national urogynecology curriculum.3

His professorship focused on pelvic floor dysfunction.1
