Biography​

Stuart L. Stanton was a consultant gynecologist and director of the urogynecology unit at St. George's Hospital in London until retiring in 2003.1 Stanton studied medicine at The London Hospital Medical School from 1956 to 1961.1 Stanton worked as a research registrar at the Institute of Urology in London in 1971–1972 under Richard Turner-Warwick.1 Stanton was a founding member of the International Continence Society, the International Urogynecological Association, and the British Society of Urogynaecology.1
