Penile Skin Flap Urethroplasty (Fossa Navicularis)
Penile skin flap urethroplasty for fossa navicularis and meatal stenosis uses a pedicled strip of non-diseased penile shaft skin to augment or replace the scarred distal urethral segment. The technique is particularly applicable when lichen sclerosus has spared the proximal penile shaft skin, providing well-vascularized tissue for distal reconstruction. Care must be taken to use only hairless, non-diseased skin to avoid intraluminal hair growth.
