Scrotal Dropback Urethroplasty

Scrotal dropback urethroplasty is used for complex hypospadias cripple cases or panurethral strictures involving the penoscrotal junction, where the scrotum is mobilized inferiorly (dropped back) to provide access to the proximal penile urethra without extensive dissection. The technique improves exposure and reduces penile skin tension during panurethral reconstruction. It is often combined with two-stage approaches and buccal mucosal grafting.
