Vaginal McCall's Culdoplasty

High posterior culdoplasty performed at the time of vaginal hysterectomy, plicating the uterosacral ligaments and posterior peritoneum to suspend the vaginal apex and obliterate the cul-de-sac. Standard adjunct to vaginal hysterectomy for POP; prevents enterocele formation by closing the peritoneal dead space.
